St. Paul's Friendly Visiting offers trained and supervised volunteer visits on a regular, and one to one basis. Visiting times are scheduled at times convenient for both client and volunteer. Friendly visiting volunteers visit the client's home weekly to share activities like reading, playing games, listening to music, or just some friendly conversation. Volunteers can also do shopping, act as an escort; assist with banking, medical appointments or attend social or cultural events with the client. Telephone reassurance service provides scheduled phone calls to provide peace of mind and ensure the safety of clients in their homes.
