Exclusive support services available to our residents

St. Paul's Supportive Housing services offer a number of programs to seniors who live at St. Paul's and Wishing Well Manor. The program enables individuals to continue living in the community when they require assistance with their "activities of daily living". Seniors are assessed to determine their eligibility.

It is a preventive program which reduces the client's chance of requiring premature admission to institutionalized care facilities. We emphasize a safe and secure environment while advocating client self-determination, independence, flexibility and client-centered services.

Our Supportive Housing program offers:
  • medication reminding and monitoring
  • light meal preparation
  • assistance with personal care
  • light housekeeping
  • recreation and socialization
  • 24-hr emergency response system
An assessment will be conducted by our staff to determine eligibility and client's needs.

We provide our clients with one-stop shopping by linking them:
  1. internally to our other services offered at the Centre such as: Transportation, Meals On Wheels, Day programs, Physiotherapy
  2. externally when the services needed are not provided at our centre.

Supportive Housing services are funded by the Ministry of Health and are free to those tenants who qualify.
