Board Position Available (Volunteer)

St. Paul's L'Amoreaux Centre has a vacancy for a committed and enthusiastic individual serve as a Director on our dedicated Board of Directors, representing community needs through effective governance. Our Board positions are all voluntary. The Board meets one Tuesday evening every other month with additional meetings required to support committee work, or for important priorities like strategic planning. We are specifically looking to recruit an individual with a background which includes any of healthcare and service planning, fundraising, non-profit work with special populations such as seniors, newcomers to Canada, or mental health. Skills and competencies in fundraising, community development and program development are desired.
St. Paul's L'Amoreaux Centre is currently in a period of development with a new strategic plan in place this year and a reinvigorated organizational commitment to diversify our fundraising and donations in order to increase the support we offer the most marginalized communities. In addition, with significant changes in the health care sector, we are determined to ensure our organization continues to align itself with government and funding priorities. The position would begin on Wednesday June 19th for a term of two years.
