Registration

Registration for new participants for fall classes, special events and trips start on Thursday August 13, 2009. Winter classes for new participants start on Wednesday November 11, 2009. Participants must register in person at St. Paul’s L’Amoreaux Centre. Registration is on a first come, first served basis.

Please register at the Customer Service Desk anytime Mon. to Fri., 9:00am – 4:00pm.

Payment may be made by cash, cheque or credit card.

Cancellation Policy

The Recreation Department reserves the right to cancel or reschedule programs if the minimum registration requirements cannot be met, or due to reasons such as poor weather, or site unavailability. In cases of class cancellation, refunds will be pro-rated according to the number of classes remaining.

Class Refund Policy

1. Refunds are subject to a $10.00 charge.
2. Request for refunds is required at least 3 business days prior to the second class.
3. For computer programs, refund requests must be submitted 1 week prior to the first class.
4. Notification must be made in-person at the Customer Service Desk or by fax 416-493-3391.
5. Refunds will be processed in 3 weeks

*Registration for special events is non-refundable.

Trip Refund Policy

1. Refunds processed 14 days prior to departure are subject to a $10.00 charge.
2. Refunds processed 48 hours prior to departure are subject to a 50% charge.
3. Ticket transfers can be arranged by the participant at Customer Service Desk within 48 hours of departure but are subject to a $10.00 charge.
4. Request for refunds must be made in-person at the Customer Service Desk
5. Refunds will be processed in 3 weeks.
6. No refunds will be issued less than 48 hours of departure. Please refer to the trip registration form for more information.

Membership

Sign up for a Recreation Membership today for program discounts and other benefits. Memberships are available to adults who are 55 years and older.

There are two types of memberships available:

1. 12 month Membership: $18.00/year from enrolment date.
2. Lifetime Membership: $150.00

Membership is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Membership registration is available at the Customer Service Desk of St. Paul’s L’Amoreaux Centre. Please bring along valid identification.

Other benefits

All recreation members pay $164 for one year single membership access - a savings of $76 at Club Aurora! The Club offers its members access to a variety of exercise and fitness facilities. For details, call 416-497-4363 and ask about the “Park/St. Paul’s” rate.

Important Regulations for Day Trip Participants

• Participants must be independent and be able to:
  • understand and follow instructions
  • load on and off buses
  • walk for at least a total 30 minutes
  • climb several steps
• Participants must provide an emergency contact number upon registration or to the trip coordinator prior to the trip day.
• Participants with any health issues must consult their family doctor before registration, and stay home if not feeling well on the trip day.
• Four seats are assigned for walker users per trip; they are allocated on a first come first served basis. You must inform Customer Service Representative upon registration if you require storing your walker.
• All coaches and school buses are NOT wheelchair accessible.
• If any participants requiring assistance in transfer and/or while walking or have difficulty following or understanding instruction must have an escort on board.
• Escort/Caregiver must be 18 years of age or older.
• Oxygen Tank/Cylinder users are responsible for carrying and maintaining their own equipment and ensuring they have sufficient oxygen for the duration of the trip. St. Paul’s is NOT responsible for the maintenance of any equipment.
• St. Paul’s has the right to refuse participants to board the bus or coach.
