Virtual Travelogue – Journey to Japan-Aug22

Event description

Pack your luggage, grab your passport and join us on August 26th for FREE as we visit the country of Japan! We will begin our journey by visiting one of this country’s most majestic and famous landmarks for art and literature: Mount Fuji! We will then visit the Imperial Palace at the capital Tokyo! What makes the palace unique is that although it was constructed in October of 1868, it is still being used by the Imperial family today! Next, we will board a boat and see the island of Miyajima which is home to various species of deer and birds! Finally, before we board our flight back to Canada, we will learn a bit about one of the more popular items that has originated from Japan – anime!
