Join us to learn about active living for seniors on Saturday, August 19th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with our FREE Active Living Fair!

Older adults, seniors, caregivers and families are invited to experience informative workshops, fun activities, and the opportunity to interact with 10 community exhibitors who provide programs and services for seniors in Scarborough.

The purpose of the event will be to promote healthy and active living for seniors. Attendees can expect to learn from speakers how to keep fit and healthy while aging with activities such as mindfulness, chair yoga and healthy eating, as well as participate themselves. One-on-one consultation sessions will be offered by a dietitian, pharmacist, housing services representative, and digital instructor who will help familiarize seniors with tools such as Zoom as well as how to register for programs on SPLC’s website. Exhibitors from local government organizations and businesses will be on hand to explain their services and how to access them.

Attendees can also expect to enjoy a free lunch on us as well as the chance to enter a draw to win prizes.
