SPLC offers services to relieve the stress of caregiving and ensure older adults are well cared for. Whether you require a support worker in your home for cleaning and meal preparation or you need someone to keep an older adult under your care engaged, SPLC can help.
Local Health Integration Network (LHIN)
Local Health Integration Networks (LHINs) are organizations established by the Government of Ontario that help connect people with the right healthcare services for their particular needs. They connect patients and caregivers with an extremely wide range of health-related services, such as assistance with diabetes management, care for dementia patients, referrals to long-term care homes, and much more. If you or the older adult under your care requires health-related support services, and you are unsure of where to look, the LHIN is an excellent place to start. Contact SPLC for more information on LHINs or find more about the LHIN in your area by clicking here.
